You Have Options

We offer three types of sedation dentistry to meet your needs and comfort level.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, offers a mild sedation level to take the edge off your anxiety. You'll inhale the gas through a comfortable nosepiece and immediately feel a full-body euphoria. You'll still be fully awake and conscious throughout your procedure and can safely drive yourself home.

Oral Sedation

Oral sedation offers a mild to moderate level of sedation and comes in the form of a pill. Depending on the dosage and type, you'll experience a calming effect and drowsiness. You'll be partially conscious throughout the procedure, though you may fall asleep and not remember much afterward. You'll need someone to drive you home.

IV Sedation

IV sedation is administered directly into the bloodstream by a qualified anesthesiologist, providing the deepest level of relaxation. You'll be mostly unconscious throughout the procedure and won't feel or remember much. You'll feel sleepy for several hours afterward as the sedation wears off, and will need someone to drive you home.
