Dr. Howarth grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Edison High School. During his high school years, he proudly attained the Rank of Eagle Scout. He moved on to the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Varsity Cross Country/Track & Field Teams. After graduating from OU, his interest in healthcare and helping people led him to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. While at dental school, he was Vice President of the American Student Dental Association and Co-Coordinator of the Good Shepard Charity Dental Clinic. Dr. Howarth realizes learning never stops, which is why he dedicates hundreds of hours every year to continuing his dental education in a range of dental topics. In 2013, he completed over 300 hours of CE at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi Course, which gave him comprehensive training in Implant Dentistry.
He is a member of numerous dental and academic societies, including the Tulsa Dental Society, Oklahoma Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Seattle Study Club.
When not caring for the families of Tulsa, Dr. Howarth loves spending time with his wife, friends, and family. He loves to travel, play golf, be outdoors, and watch sports. He's married to his beautiful wife, Sarah, who is an NICU nurse at Saint Francis. Together they are proud parents to an active baby boy!
